Kimono Envelope Clutch Bag with Cranes on Silver | Upcycled Kimono Obi Silk

A handmade envelope clutch purse upcycled from vintage premium Japanese jacquard silk kimono obi fabric.

STORY
In Japan, the crane [tsuru], is a national treasure. It is the symbol for longevity and good luck because the bird is thought to have a life span of a thousand years. 

MATERIALS
Base Fabric: vintage Japanese silk obi
Pattern: Multi-color cranes woven silver 
Fully lined with inner pocket
Comes with dust bag and kraft paper keepsake box.

We do our best to photograph the bag to show how they will appear in person, but due to the nature of working with upcycled material there will be some variation in the pattern seen here. This adds an element of uniqueness to the bag, with no two patterns being exactly the same.
