A handmade clutch purse upcycled from a vintage Japanese obi features hexagons woven with orange, Gold and black threads.
STORY
A Japanese symbol inspired by the shell of the tortoise in hexagons.
The kikko brings longevity, luck and prosperity.
Pine (Matsu) is a Japanese homophone for “wait”, it is a common symbol that creates anticipation for the winter season. Pine also depicts fidelity as fallen pine needles are always in a pair.
MATERIALS
Base Fabric: vintage Japanese silk obi
Pattern: Hexagon Kikko in Orange, Gold and Green
Hardware: 8" metal frame, Swarovski cyrstal knob closure
Strap: 70" metallic chain strap
MEASUREMENTS: 9″ x 5″ x 2.5″
